IMAGES - Exploring in you...you!!

IMAGES successfully organized a coding workshop "Roadmap to DSA" especially for first yearites in association with Coding Ninjas on 29 November 2022. We were able to create an enthusiasm and an interest in the students of first year about programming and ways to learn more about it. More than 130 students of Punjab Engineering College attended the workshop and IMAGES do organize events and workshops like this for the growth and development of its members and society. We got a good response from the students and will continue to do the same in near future.

ALBEDO Illuminating The Zenith 20 November 2022, an evening which I never expected, filled with enthusiasm, excitement and nervousness simultaneously. EB had been thinking of such an evening for two months. The Team's efforts, diligence, hard work and madness to do something big paid off, resulting in the most fun-filled evening, where everyone enjoyed and was happy with the coordination of the organizing committee. How did we start? EB started working on the event from day one by remodeling and enhancing our member's skills, talent and curiosity. We released a form for collecting Ideas from IMAGEANS on 17 September and finalized the Idea after a thorough discussion on 24 September. Challenges Our first Challenge was finalizing the date, as on the same day, DSA announced that PECFEST would also take place in November, and executing the whole Idea near the PECFEST would have been futile. The next thing which came up was the Orientation of the first year, which was between 10 Nov

  "If you are not moving forward, you are falling backwards." The monthly unprepared GBM named ADHYAN was organised on 12th September,2022 in Room No 406, NAB. The organising panel of the meeting were Nitin Singhla, Varun Kumar and Kanwar Preet Singh. And the GBM was judged by Kshitij Gujral. GBM was started on a very good note and address by the President Saksham Garg followed by the activities Group Discussion (on the topic "Service charges on online transaction") Parliamentary Debate (on the topic "THB rise in Population is a curse on world").  Switch side debate (in which the participant have to switch the side from for to against the topic when the host asks to switch)  Guesstimate (this activity was specially added to prepare the members for interview round).  Act your part (in this activity six members performed and were asked to act as representatives of a company and were asked to negotiate and reach a conclusion which is best for the company

"UTKRISHTATA (Excellence) is not a skill it is an attitude".  The monthly unprepared GBM of june month was conducted on 28th of June in online mode, with the aim of achieving excellence  and so was the theme of the GBM   "UTKRISHTATA" . The Organizing panel was led by Rizul, Sarthak and Kavya. The Judging panel comprised of Sakshi, Bhupati and Sahil. The GBM started  with an intro speech  from the panel and it explained about the theme  and its motto. At the end of speech first activity was explained  and the members performed with great enthusiasm. The judgement for the activity was passed by the judging panel and pointed out for improvements.  Thereafter various activities were conducted for the members from GD, Switch-Side Debate Picture Interpretation, Art of Persuasion and many more in which members participated with full confidence. “It’s time to say goodbye to the past and hello to a new journey lying ahead “ ADIOS , The farewell was organised for our lovely senior members, who left their wonderful memories behind and started a new journey, full of different adventures. We wish them the best compliments on finishing their college life and a heartfelt/cordial thanks to them for directing their young juniors on the way to progress. We wish them great success in life. The farewell was divided into two parts. First was the lunch given to the whole organization by the seniors, and the second was the party from the organization to the final year members. The lunch was quite interactive where the members from the junior years interacted with the seniors and offered their good wishes to them. At the farewell party, the whole organization gathered and interacted with each other, danced, and had fun together. EB Transfer is the day when we say goodbye to our old EB and welcome our new Executive Body full of enthusiasm and enthralling ideas. This formal event took place on the 4th of May, 2022.  The event started with the election officer welcoming the old EB and briefing us about the event. Each candidate contesting the election had to deliver a speech about why they were the best candidate for that position. We learned about each candidate's vision regarding the organization's future and how they will plan to build our personality and character. Each candidate's speech was remarkable and even taught us how to give a formal speech in front of a highly proficient audience. After everyone had finished their address, it was time to vote. "Life isn't about finding yourself; it is about creating yourself." Ensuring the growth of every member has always been the prime focus of IMAGES.  A prepared GBM named PROFUSE was organised on 26th April 2022 in Seminar hall 104, NAB. The organising panel of the meeting were Aadi Singhal, Aashita Bansal, Khushi Talwar, and Pratham Singh. The judges of the GBM were the in-office EB of that semester.  The panel gave a period of about one week to all the participants to prepare the tasks like Skit on a Social Cause, Brochure on Virtual Teaching Platform, and presentations on topics like Resume Building and Marketing Pitch. All the participants performed their tasks with great enthusiasm and hunger to learn something new. The jury judged the performances simultaneously and highlighted the areas of improvement regarding confidence, fluency and dedication of the participants towards the tasks.   Towards the end, one member performed a JAM, and the EB gave its final call of co

  "You just have to have the guidance to lead you in the direction until you can do it yourself". Resume building and Interview behaviour workshop was held on 16th March 2022. This workshop was conducted for IMAGEAN'S in an offline mode.  Executive Body guided the members by sharing their experience. The workshop mainly focused on basic resume building practices along with the tips for the interview.  Various tips regarding confidence building for company interviews were shared. Doubts were also resolved and the workshop was concluded smoothly with an active participation from everyone . The purpose of this workshop to give a kickstart to juniors in their preparation for internship was achieved successfully.

  Schmooze, the first formal unprepared GBM consisting the newer recruits of the organization, was conducted on 24th January 2022. In a first, the event was organized in hybrid mode to incorporate the presence of all the members, and was concluded smoothly with active participation by everyone. The activities, though formal, managed to be fun at the same time, while also refining certain aspects about a participant's personality.

INCONITO  Unleash the Zest The laughter of the children brings light to the environment. To make that happen we IMAGEans on 19th October,2k19 invited government schools all over Chandigarh to participate in our day event which helped students to get exposure and enhance their self-esteem. Extempore and a quiz was organised for them. Thrilling, exciting and entertaining all in one pack in our night event in Kalagram . In which people came to get into the Incognito mode and logout from the stresses of the world, so the event started with Harsh Gujral- the well known comedian followed by band Haqiqat. This is was accompanied by very delicious and  lip smacking food at the very same place. These types of events are organised by Images every year and thus all the funds generated by them is used for the welfare of the society !

ENIGMA'17- "We Create, You Celebrate" ENIGMA'17 TEAM ART ARENA- Between love and passion lies art Art is one's emotions flowing in a river of imagination. The Art Arena at ENIGMA 2k17, offered two different creative art formsto choose from, painting without brush in IMPRESSIONS, or painting a pot using three colours in TRIPPLING.  Plenty of participation from some of the best schools and arts colleges of tri-city produced paintings and pots that were enthralling enough and donned the Art Exhibition arena to audience's awe.  From ensuring minimum time lag while organising the event, adequate supply of material to managing a hefty crowd; Everything was managed by our team quite flawlessly. KALAKRITI'17 'Look at the children, Look how they shine!' It was 6th of September, the day of colours, smiles and the glitz. Underprivileged children from Kartar Aasra adorned the NGO-subevent KALAKRITI, at ENIGMA 2k17, with their presence and vigour. Armed with crayons, sketch pens and a refreshing enthusiasm, ]the kids painted their hearts out for an hour. Amongst giggles and laughter, the kids gave wings to their imagination- the simple act of being at liberty to express themselves, bringing wide smiles to their beautiful faces at Tagore theatre.
