Online GBM - Mulighet

Covid-19 has affected almost all areas of our lives. With the increasing cases we have been all restricted to our homes. But our willingness and dedication to make ourselves better remains firm.

Hence, IMAGES conducted its first online GBM on 20th of April, 2020. It was the beginning of something incredible.

The GBM was mainly focused on inspiring the members of IMAGES in working to their maximum potential and bringing out the best in themselves. After the successful first online GBM IMAGES conducted its GBM(MULIGHET) online on 12 July 2020. Third yearites made the pannel. Everyone was very  active and supportive.
The GBM started off with the introduction speech from the panel and continued with the following activities:
1.MUN: There were two nations , and the delegates of both the nations had to represent their country stance on the given agenda in their speeches.

2.  Change the end: In this activity , there were also two teams, and both the teams have given a same movie and their task was to change the end of the movie.

3. Presentations: The participants shared their views on whether corona has given everyone the opportunity to shift towards online education or not.

4. Nepotism (Star kids VS Self made Actors) : Again the activity divided the participants into two teams, which pitched two different ideas against each other.

5. Event Planners: The last official activity of the GBM had two teams pitching their presentations against each other.
Each team comprised of three students ,where two of them were second yearites while one was from 3rd year. Everyone tried to their best to win the competitions. At the end of every activity judges gave the review to participants.

At last GBM winded up with the declaration of results. These activities are confidence boosters. A break from monotonous life of home quarantine. Online GBM tasks helps us in personality development. As we were divided into groups and were trained to work as a team.
These sessions brought out courage and confidence from a few timid students.

Will-power is one of the key factors that we learn from our GBMs. It is a phenomenon which lies in human mind. It needs to be groomed, shaped and exploited. Concentration, meditation and faith can be of great help in this regard. All the great men of the world who rose to the height of success were men of strong will.
